We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and creative individual, who is an excellent communicator and team player, to join our strong, successful and popular Academy situated in the Herefordshire countryside.   We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic classroom practitioner; who has high expectations of children’s achievement, behaviour and development.  If you consider yourself a teacher of Early Years or Key Stage 1, please apply.

The school has undergone significant growth over the last 10 years, moving from 4 classrooms to now 9, including our nursery and preschool rooms.  We are a single form entry school and have a plethora of experienced teachers to support and guide the successful candidate if needed.

 

Stretton Sugwas C of E Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE 2023. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
