Extra-curricular Enrichment
At Stretton Sugwas, we are committed to children's Personal Development (PD). There are so many additional opportunities that we try and provide for our pupils in addition to the curriculum. Everyone loves to "bee"long and being part of a club can help develop confidence and self-esteem. Clubs can also help children to "bee"lieve in their talents as well as develop new ones. As a result, children taking part in extra-curricular activities can then "bee"have in a way that uses their new skills to help others. If your child is at the school, please encourage them to put their name forward for clubs, encourage them to talk to their teacher about clubs they can run or check emails for updates on what's happening each term.
What clubs are on offer this term?
As a school, we try to cater for different interests. Sometimes the difficulty is knowing what is available in the local area. If you know of any organisations or individuals that offer anything that would compliment our extra-curricular club programme, please contact us.

Above and "Bee"yond the Curriculum
Our Above and Beyond reward cards celebrate Personal Development (PD) and enrichment, with a particular focus on character development.
They encourage children to aim for achievable but challenging personal goals in their school life within the curriculum and beyond it too. In addition to this, the intention is that such reward cards allow children the opportunity to be further motivated to engage with what goes on in school, as well as ensuring that staff actively seek out these opportunities to cater for character development.
For each year group, there are 7 goals or targets to try and achieve. These targets fall into the following discrete categories or themes: resilience and confidence; critical thinking and reflection; morals and values; health and well-being; democracy and citizenship; talents and aspirations; leadership and teamwork.
